A lot of people have decorated their homes and have everything wrapped up ready for Christmas. I will be bringing my tree inside at the weekend and will be putting up my Christmas lights.
I have made the cake and pudding and will be icing the cake on Saturday. My children are both visiting over the holiday period which will be wonderful.
I am keeping everything low key this year as I do every year. I love Christmas because it means spending time with loved ones. I don't sign up to buying expensive gifts and don't think I would even if I was rich as I don't believe that spending is what Christmas should be about. Sometimes people lose sight of what is really important in life.
