One good thing about Social networking sites is that you can find and then meet up with old friends. I am off to see my friend Kate today. I haven't seen her for years. I expect we will have a lot to talk about as we have both had children and had all kinds of experiences since we last met.
It is easy to lose touch with friends. Life is so busy and everything changes so fast. People move towns, get new jobs, meet new people and gradually lose touch with people that they used to know well.
It is important not to live in the past but it can be great to meet up with people from time to time to see how they are getting on and to swap stories!
